A device for washing, drying, and storing brassieres and bikini
tops and the like comprises an outer shell having two halves that
have a plurality of holes. A foraminous inner form, which also contains
a plurality of holes, has an exterior surface shaped like the contours
of a padded bra cup breast side. The bra cups' breast side rests
against the inner form's exterior surfaces to prevent it and the
bra's underwires from losing their natural curvature. The inner
form is hollow and provides space for the containment of a bra's
shoulder and back straps. The inner form is secured to the outer
shell's two halves by a first hinge, which allows the inner form
to swing from first half to second half and vice versa, and also
allows first half and second half to open and close like a clamshell.
A second hinge is located between the first hinge and the inner
form to allow the inner form to swing away from the outer shell's
two halves and back to its original position for easy placement
and removal of bra(s) inside in the device. A latching mechanism
secures the device in a closed and locked or latched position and
is located between the exterior and interior surfaces of the outer
shell's two halves. The protruding rim on one half of the outer
shell nestles within the receiving rim on the other half to prevent
lateral movement of the two halves.
A relatively simple frame for use in bikini bottoms or briefs includes
two lengths of wire which are bent to define mirror images of each
other, the lengths defining a major portion of an oval of sufficient
length to extend around the crotch of a wearer between a V-shaped
line across the rectus abdominous muscle in the front and the sacrum
in the rear of the wearer. Each of the lengths of wire includes
a straight, vertical rear portion extending downwardly from an inverted
L-shaped top rear end to approximately the bottom center of the
crotch area, and a front portion flaring outwardly and upwardly
from the vertical plane of the straight rear portion to a top end
and then downwardly to the vertical plane of the rear portion. The
two lengths of wire are interconnected using conventional cable
connectors to define a T-shaped rear and a generally triangular
front with a V-shaped depression in the top thereof. A front connector
loosely retains the wires so that the frame can readily be deformed
during manufacture of the product. The frame is covered with a fabric
or other flexible cover.
In general, bikini bottoms or briefs are somewhat unimaginative
in terms of shape, uncomfortable and expensive to produce. A relatively
simple frame for use in bikini bottoms or briefs includes two lengths
of wire which are bent to define mirror images of each other, the
lengths defining a major portion of an oval of sufficient length
to extend around the crotch of a wearer between a V-shaped line
across the rectus abdominous muscle in the front and the sacrum
in the rear of the wearer.
When the frame
is covered with a fabric or other flexible cover, the resulting
bikini bottom or briefs includes a triangular front panel with a
V-shaped depression in the top edge thereof, a narrow, generally
rectangular strip in the crotch area and a triangular rear panel
with a straight top edge.
Bikini.TM. Blade apparatus for reducing levels of visible hair
present within the bikini line region, or the groin area of a user,
is made up of at least a blade in a razor blader head assembly,
which is otherwise conventional, except for having a cutting edge
ranging from at least about 0.50 inches to about 0.90 inches, in
combination with conventional attachments, handles and refillable
and disposable specialized handle structures, with which it is compatible.
A method of use and kit are likewise disclosed whereby at least
one of a user's groin area and bikini line are rendered substantially
free of visible hairs.
