A cat litter device includes a drum rotatable about an axis for
containing litter with the drum having a front and a backend. A
cat opening is disposed in the front end and a waste exit is disposed
in the backend, which is coaxial with the rotation axis. A filter
is fixed for rotation within the drum between the front and back
ends for sifting feces and agglomerated filter from the litter.
The filter conforms to a drum interior to prevent breakup of fragile
agglomerates. An exterior waste tube is in communication with the
filter and the waste exit for receiving feces and agglomerated litter
from the filter and transferring the feces and agglomerated litter
to the waste exit. An exterior waste tube is coupled to the waste
exit for enabling rotation of the drum thereabout and a collection
bag is removably connected to the exterior waste tube for receiving
and disposing of the feces and agglomerated litter.
A pet litter box including a body defined by a top portion and
a bottom portion, the top portion including a portion that is hingedly
connected to other portions of the litter box to allow at least
a portion thereof to be pivoted away from other portions of the
body, the top including an opening for allowing a pet to enter an
interior defined by the body of the cat litter box is provided.
A pet litter box including a body defined by a top portion and

interior defined by the body of the cat litter box is provided.
The invention concerns a cat litter box with a rotatable container
20 housed on a frame 1 the tray floor 21 of which forms a collection
tray for cat litter and the like. A cleaning rake 30 is arranged
standing in the container 20 and reaching to the floor of the tray
21 with which cleaning rake, when the container is rotated in one
direction to clean it, waste matter 34 particularly faeces, can
be separated from the cat litter 29. The container possesses a storage
chamber for the separated waste matter which can be moved with the
container, which chamber is formed by a bag 40 the entrance of
which is arranged above the cleaning rake 30 in the position of
use. The tray floor 21 consists in accordance with the invention
of a closed half shell which extends over a span area of less than
250.degree. which with a first part shell section forms the floor
of an essentially open collection tray 20A and with the other part
shell section forms the rear wall of an interim storage tray 20B
for litter, whereby the cleaning rake 30 is arranged at the transition
segment 50 between the storage chamber 40 is arranged in the position
of use on the side of the cleaning mechanism 30 facing the litter
retention tray (20B) and whereby the rotation of the container 20
from the position of use is restricted to a pivot movement of 120-180.degree.
