A hanger rack for hand tools includes a bar having a rail formed
at an upper side of the bar. Multiple fixture pieces are movably
mounted on the bar. Each fixture piece has a seat with a hook slidably
attached to the rail and a hanging member laterally extending from
the seat for attaching with a hand tool. Whereby, the fixture pieces
are slidable along the bar, spaces between two adjacent fixture
pieces can be adjusted according to the sizes of the hand tools
such as screwdrivers.
A method and apparatus facilitate the efficient, safe use of storage
space in a building structure. The apparatus stores hand tools of
differing shape and dimension in a compact area in nested, canted
storage units shaped to receive the handles of tools.
A removable twisting measuring device for various hand tools comprises
a cover removably installed on a rod body of a hand tool; a strain
gauge installed at one end of the cover contacting the rod body
of the hand tool; the strain gauge having a deformation due to a
twisting force; a display device having a transfer element; resistance
variation due to the deformation of the strain gauge being transferred
to the display device so as to derive the twisting force which is
then displayed on the display device. The display device can be
installed to another removable covers. Moreover, outlooks of the
covers are matched to the hand tool. The cover is made from one
of aluminum alloys and deformable materials. The display device
has a screen and a calibrating button.
A method and apparatus for enabling hand tools to float is disclosed.
In one aspect, the invention is a grip comprising a tubular sleeve
which is placed over a handle or pre-existing tool grip and enables
the tool to float grip side up, thereby allowing the tool to be
easily seen and retrieved. The grip may have varying thicknesses
and diameters and may be colored or treated with a luminescent or
reflective coating so as to be easily seen. The grip material may
also be selected so that it molds to the user's hand during use.
