A urine bag cleaning machine includes a housing that has an interior
space. A pump is positioned in the interior space. A tank is positioned
in the interior space. A conduit is positioned in the interior space
and is environmentally coupled to the pump and the tank. A filter
system is operationally coupled to the conduit for filtering a fluid
for passing through the conduit. An influent manifold is positioned
in the interior space and environmentally coupled to the pump. An
exfluent manifold is positioned in the interior space and is environmentally
coupled to the tank. The influent manifold and the exfluent manifold
is substantially aligned apertures whereby the influent and exfluent
manifolds are adapted for coupling to opposite ends of a urine bag
to form a closed system for passing the fluid through the urine
bag whereby the urine bag is cleansed.
A urine bag holder for removably holding a urine bag to a leg of
a user. The urine bag holder includes a panel having a top edge,
a bottom edge, a first end edge and a second end edge. The panel
comprising a flexible material having a inside surface and an outside
surface. Each of a plurality of straps is attached to the outside
surface and is positioned generally adjacent to the first end edge.
Each of a plurality of fastening members removably fastens free
ends of each of the straps to the outside surface of the panel.
A plurality of securing members removably secure a urine bag to
the panel by engaging holes in the urine bag.
A urine bag cleaning manifold capable of pre-mixing a cleaning
solution and water for washing one or more urine bags. The bags
are then rinsed and allowed to dry. The urine bag cleaning manifold
is adapted for attaching to a bathroom sink faucet, bathtub faucet
and other faucets for circulating the warm water from the faucet
and the cleaning solution therethrough. The cleaning manifold includes
a flexible inlet tube having a first end and a second end. The first
end of the inlet tube is adapted for connection to the faucet. The
second end of the inlet tube is attached to an inlet of a water
inlet valve. An outlet of the water inlet valve is attached to a
first end of an upstream mixing section. The upstream mixing section
is part of a hollow manifold body. The hollow manifold body also
includes a downstream discharge section. A second end of the mixing
section is attached to a first end of the discharge section. A cleaning
solution container is mounted on top of a cleaning solution valve.
The cleaning solution valve is attached to sides of an opening in
an upper portion of the mixing section. A plurality of outlet valves
are attached to sides of openings in a lower portion of the discharge
section. A first end of a plurality of outlet tubes is attached
to the outlet valves. A second end of the outlet tubes is adapted
for attachment to the urine bags.
A garment (1) is disclosed for fixing a urine bag (2) on the leg
(3) of a user. The garment includes a tubular part (6) having elastic
bands (9 10) at its ends, said bands fitting tightly around the
leg (3) of the user. The tubular part is provided with an integrally
formed pocket (11), the tubular part being formed by a dual layer
knitted structure except in the area of the pocket (11). At the
pocket bottom (13) there is an opening (14) for the discharge pipe
(15) of the urine bag. The garment (1) is manufactured easily in
endless webs, which are separated, and subsequently the two end
edges (31 32) are knitted together (33) in order to form the tubular
shape. The garment provides safe fixing of the urine bag (2) as
the latter will be supported inside the pocket (11) and be held
against the leg of the user due to the elastic bands (9 10), which
are dimensioned so as to be able to carry a full urine bag. Owing
to the use of elastic threads across the height of the garment,
the full urine bag is held against the leg of the user without collapsing.
