BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to support stands and more particularly
pertains to a new water cooler support device for holding a water
cooler in an easily accessible manner.
2. Description of the Prior Art
The use of support stands is known in the prior art. More specifically,
support stands heretofore devised and utilized are known to consist
basically of familiar, expected and obvious structural configurations,
notwithstanding the myriad of designs encompassed by the crowded
prior art which have been developed for the fulfillment of countless
objectives and requirements.
Known prior art includes U.S. Pat. Nos. 5785972; 5184476; 4664349;
5123720; 2490369; U.S. Des. Pat. No. 310426.
While these devices fulfill their respective, particular objectives
and requirements, the aforementioned patents do not disclose a new
water cooler support device. The inventive device includes a bottom
support having a top side, a bottom side and a peripheral edge extending
between the top and bottom sides. The top side has a generally circle
shape. A peripheral lip is integral to and extends upwardly from
the peripheral edge of the bottom support. The peripheral lip has
a notch therein extending from an upper edge of the peripheral lip
down to the bottom support for receiving the nozzle of the water
cooler. Each of a plurality of legs is attached to and extends downward
from the bottom side of the bottom support. The legs are spaced
from each other. Each of the legs is angled outwardly with respect
to each other.
In these respects, the water cooler support device according to
the present invention substantially departs from the conventional
