A refrigerator water filter assembly is provided in the ceiling
of a refrigerator and is adapted to hinge downwardly from the ceiling
for changing the filter cartridge. The cartridge is normally partially
recessed within the ceiling so as to minimize the use of space in
the food compartment of the refrigerator. The filter assembly includes
a base mounted in the refrigerator ceiling, a manifold pivotally
mounted on the base, a filter cartridge attached to the manifold,
and a cover pivotally mounted on the manifold so as to be movable
between open and closed positions. When the cover is opened, the
filter cartridge is angled downwardly from the ceiling for easy
grasping by a person for replacement of the cartridge.
An improved water filter vacuum cleaner includes a vacuum body
which contains a dust chamber and a dust collector assembly in the
dust chamber that contains filter water. The dust collection assembly
includes a dust collection seat and an upper cap. The dust collection
seat is divided by a partition to form a filter chamber and an airflow
chamber that communicate with each other. The airflow chamber has
an airflow duct connecting to the filter chamber. The vacuum body
has a suction assembly to generate a suction airflow which sucks
suction articles through the airflow duct into the filter chamber.
The suction airflow generates oscillating moisture to trap the suction
articles. The cleaned suction airflow passes through the upper cap
and a guiding member communicating with the upper cap to the suction
assembly to form output airflow in the suction assembly to be discharged
through an air outlet.
Silica may form as a degradation product in an electrochemical
fuel cell system and may be found within the water management subsystem
thereof. The silica may polymerize and/or react to form insoluble
metal silicates which may lead to reduced lifetime or performance
of individual components within the fuel cell system. These problems
can be eliminated or reduced by adding a silica absorber such as
aluminum, either as alumina granulate or an aluminum plate to the
water management subsystem, for example in, upstream and/or downstream
of the water filter. In addition, the silica absorber may be in,
upstream and/or downstream of the water tank.
A water filter cartridge is proposed that is intended especially
for treating drinking water in beverage machines or drinking water
devices, which includes a replaceable control unit to monitor the
condition of the water filter cartridge (1). The water filter cartridge
according to the invention is intended to make possible reliable
monitoring of its condition. This is accomplished according to the
invention in that the control unit includes a sensor unit (11) with
at least one conductance sensor (13 14).
